About 1 o'clock tho report of a shot was heard, and on a fellow lodfior proceeding to Todd'fl room found him lying on his back on tho bed with all his clothes off, but there was a towel round his waist, At ] his side there was a double-barrelled gun. j one barrel of which had discharged!
