Dunedin, December 3.
At the Supreme Court to-day, William Spedding, charged with attempted house-breabiDg, was acquitted.
When William Edward Haulon, charged with counterfeiting the Imperial stamp, was called, thore was no apponrii nee, and the boil of £100 was estreated. It is understood that Hanlon has got nivay in the Arawa for San Fraucisco. Justice Williams issued a Bench warrant Sor Hanlon's arrest.
la tbe case of Jamei McDowell, charged with felonious assault on a young woman near Blatawa, the jury were unable to ngroe, and were looked up for tho night.
