The result of the local option poll has now been officially announced, and is as follows ! — Publicans' Licenses — Licenses to continue as at present, 1079 ; reduction, 78; that no licenses be granted, 217. Accommodation Licenses — Licenses to continue as at present, 1078 ; reduction, 335; that no licenses be granted, 230. Bottle Licenses— Licenses to continue as at present, 1088; reduction, SOS ; that no licenses bo granted, 258.
