TRADES' CONFERENCE.
[Per Press Association.] Auckland, March 23. The Tradef)' Delegates Conference sat to-day, and the Industrial Conciliation Bill was considered. Huddart, Parker, and Co.'s wage sheet was considered in committee, a. resolution was carried for a clause in the Factory Act providing that clothing of all descriptions made to salo or order be made in registered factories only. The Master and Apprentices Bill, and a bill drafted by J. A. Miller (Dunedin), were jointly considered. Three months' probation wa*-; amended to a month, and a new clause was added making the paying of a premium for apprenticeship prohibited under a penalty of .£SO for each offence.
