Sydney, March 24, Three girls, sisters, named Yeomans, were drowned in the Macquarie River, near Bathurst, in the presence of hundreds of people. - They attempted to cross the river in a trap, nnd the horse got out oE his depth. A man named McOredie, who attempted to rescue them, nirrowly escaped drowning, the children all clinging to hia neck tenaciously. : Hobaet, March 24, The Euapelm arrived last night, and sailed at four this morning for Wellington.
