PATEA NOTES
[Fhoji oun own correspondent.] Patea, March 22. An excellent little musical programme was performed at the Wesleyan Church on Tuesday evening under the conductorship of Mr A. A. Gower. Amongst the items may be mentioned an excellent duet by Misses Atkins.a song by Mr J. Atkins, Mr Gower, and others. Uis a pity that more publicity was not given of the concert, as the attendance would have been much larger. The result of the licensing election as far as ascertained is totally in favour of matters remaining as they are,. Net a greu l ; deal of interest iwai taken n the poll.
