[By Electric Telegraph— Copyright.] Collision in Sydney Harbour. The Schooner Guiding Star Cut in Halves. Loss of the Collier Hilda. (Per Press Association.) i Sydney, July 20. The schooner Guiding Star collided with the steamer Ehnpamite off Eed Head, near Newcastle. The schooner was cut in halves. Her cook, named Matheson, was drowned, but the other members of the crew were taken on board the steamer. The steam collier Hilda struck a reef off Port Hacking. She was coal laden and going at full speed at the time. The vessel sank in two minutes. The ere* were saved.
