A SALVATION ARMY APPEAL CASE.
«$. (Per United Press Association.) Chbistchubch, September 30. In Banco, bufore Justice Denniston, a rule nisi, calling on the informants in a Salvation Army case to show cause why the conviction should not be quashed,"' was made absolute, without costs. Two defendants were convicted for singing 1 and beating drums to the annoyance of the public, and ware fined 5s with Jil 121 costs, which were not pud. A distress warrant issued was returned unsatisfied. The Justices then issued a warrant of commitment for 14 dayß* imprisonment, to which the defendants appealed, resulting as above. I • -'
