[Bt Electric Telegraph — Coptbight.] MARK OF' RESPECT TO THE • ! COLONIES. (Special.) Vienna, May 28. The local press regard the admission of Australia to the Postal Union as an imi portant event. When the admission of Australia to the Union was announced, the members of the Congress, in order to testify their respect to the colonies, rose to their feet. Sir Saul Samuel, Agent-General for New South Wales, in an eloquent speech, which was loudly applauded, thanked the President for his congratulatory remarks and the members for their expression of respect.
