FUNERAL OF DECEASED,

[Per United Press Association.] ' ' Chbisi'chtjbch, April '6. > The Hon. W. was buried this afternoon in the old Episcopalian Cemetery. Bishop Harper and Archdeacon Cholmondley conducted the service. .The funeral was the largest? seen here since that of Bishop Moorhouse, over 60 carriages following the hearse,- while &■ large number of employes, and .others walked afoot. A great crowd assembled at the cemetery. The Hon. -,R. • Seddon, , Major Steward, Justice Denniston, Judge Ward, and several members of both Housos of Parliament, were present. The pall bearers were Messrs P. W.Maude, 5\ De C. Malet, W. Montgomery, L. Harper, J. T. Btatson, and P.O. Wilkin. The coffin was covered with wreaths, including some from the Master Printers' Association, Press Association, and the Otago Daily Times Directors. ,
