The amounts received at.the principal ports were, Auckland, £34,377 ; Wellington, £19,413 ; Christphurch, £18,858.;. Dunedin, £29,505. ..The beer duty for Septembe^vas £3638 18s Sd.au.against £4084 13s 9d for September -last year. . The amounts at the i chioi towns were, Auokland', £729 ; Welling-, j ton, JE4I6; Christohuroh,£62o: Dunedin, £768." {
