FREEMAN R. JACKSON & CO.'S STOCK REPORT.

i We held a very lavge sale at Waverley on Monday, and the yards at Wanganui were quite full of useful stock yesterday. The bidding for sheep was not so brisk as it has been lately, though we sold nearly all that came forward at prices on a par with those ruling at our last sales. Cattle are dull o£ sale with no improvement in values, nor do we see any prospect of any advance in prices in the meantime, --There seems some prospect of larger shipments of beef to the I Old Country, as an effort is being made to obtain a reduction of freight on frozen beef. If this is arranged wa think, a;krge quantity of our surplus beef will find its way to London. Pigs yesterday were at lower values, and we have no alteration to quote for other stock.
