The Daily News this morning announces that offensive operations on the j part of the combined fleet upon Salamis are imminent, with the view to disab* "ling tbe Grook fleet, which is now lying in that place. Mr Gladstone has not been able to formulate proposals with regard to tbe Irish question, aud it is believed that the Government are not prepared to submit a scheme at proseut.
