February 16, Mr Gladstone has written a letter to the newspapers, in which ho invites Irishmen of all classes and all partios to communicate with the Government as to ■ thu needs of Ireland, and he calls upon thom to aid hiruin deciding upon a plan for the settlement of tbe Irish question, (Received February 17th, noon) Her Majeety sent a donation of £500 to the fund which is being raised for the relief of the unemployed in London.
