JUNO DRAMATIC COMPANY.
" Jo," a drama founded on Charles Dickens's " Bleak House," formed the programme of laafc night's entertainment at the Princess Theatre. It has generally been associated with the name of Jenny Lee, who thereby made herself famous. Apart, however; from the intrinsic merits of the piece, curiosity as to the manner of its production by the present company caused the house to bo fairly well filled. Mies Juno, aB Lady Deadlock, surpassed anything we have yet seen her in, har talent for emotional display having fall scope, especially in tha closing scenes. Miss Oarrington depicted "Jo," the poor London street waif, as to the manner born. Inspector Bucket, in the hands of Mr Taylor, was naturally successful, and Mr Forbes eniowed the part of | Sir Leicester Deadlock with all the reality that was required ; Mr Kennedy too, made a careful Krook. To-ni«ht 11 The Shaughran " is to be the bill of fare, and judging from tho success which has attended the representation of Irish pieces by tho Juno Dramatic Company it ahould ba woli worth soeing.
