MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE OF A SCHOOL GIRL.
(per united press association.) .Napier, February 11. AnjAucluand girl of saventeen, attending the High fctehool here, has mysteriously disappeared, bhe left school at 12 o'clock yesterday to lunch with a friend, but never arrived at the friend's house. 'Jha only trace of her is that she called and bought a box of matchys at a store at the Spit, The police have scoured the town and hills, but cannot find anytl.ing. Nothing whatever which might account for her disappearance oan be found out.
