Sir John Robertson, the Premier of New South Wales, has reoeived a telegram from Sir J ohn Macdonald, Premier of Canada, stating thut the Canadian Government is desirous of having a conference wifch the Governments of New South Wales and New Zealand on the feasibility of establishing a mail between fche three oountries, having ai terminus in British Columbia. The Canadian Premier trusta the 'subjeot will he mutually discussed before the final cob*** olusion of any arrangements foi* subsidising the line via San Francisco.
