CITY RIFLES.
The following are the conditions for firing for the company's trophy : — Ranges 200, 300, and 500 yards; Wimbledon target; 5 shots at each range ; competitions to bo held on the third Monday in each month during the yoar (May, June, and July excepted) ; the trophy to be won three times in succession or at intervals before it be*, comes the absolute property of a com* petitor; not more than twelve points shall be given to any competitor at auy one time ; no two competitors shall shoot out of one rifle in any competition ; rifles on issue from the company only to be used ; any member arriviug on the ground more than half an hour after the first shot is fired will not be allowed to shoot ; in the event of a tie the member having the lowest handicap will take precedence ; in the event of a tie between scratch men, or man ha.ing au ' equal handicap, N.Z.8.4. rules will be adopted ; ten men to fire or no com . petition. Note,— the offioers of the company have signified their intention of not competing.
