WANGANUI REGATTA.

A meeting of the regatta committee was held at the Occidental Hotel on Wednesday evening. Present — Messrs Spurdlo (in the chair), Bush, Cuininins, Powell, Bates, Gower, hon. secretary. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The treasurer, Mr Bush, submitted a balance-sheet showing a surplus of £16 odd, after paying all liabilities, which amounted to .£129 11s Gd. The assets were miide up as follows: — Subscriptions, £121 os 6d; outries, £13 18s; privileges £5 ; and a balance of £5 9s handed over by the Culouiul liogatta Committee. A vote of thanks was accorded to Messrs Alexander and Gower for the trouble they had t:ikon in aiunuising for subscriptions.
