SIR WILLIAM FOX requests the Electors of the Rangitikei Electoral District to meet him at the following places and dates : — PAREWANUI Schoolhouse, Monday, 21st November, at 7.30 p.m. GREATFORD Schoolhouse, Wednesday, 23rd November, at 7.30 p.m. Sir William Fox respectfully requests the School Committees in the above districts to allow him the use of the Schools mentioned, and begs his friends in each case to make the necessary preparations. WAIMATE PLAINS. Crown Lands Office, Patea, 16th November, 1881. FURTHER SALE of 10,000 acres of Rural Laud for Cash, at public auction, and on Deferred Payments on application. Rural Bush Land in the Kaupokonui, Ngaere, Hawera, and Waimate Survey Districts. Residence not compulsory. 14 Sections (about 2500 acres) of Land in the above district will be open for application on Deferred Payments on Monday, 19th December, at Patea and Hawera ; and 72 Sections (about 7500 acres) on sale by public auction, for Cash, at Hawera, on Thursday, the 22nd December. The Sections in Blocks XF 7 "., and XV., Kaupokonui, abut on ti. 3 continuous reserve between the Manaia and Auroro Roads ; in Block XII., Kaupokonui, and Block IX., Ngaere, west of the Waingongoro Stream and Eltham Railway Station. The bush is mainly light timber, soft woods, and a few rata. Land is well watered. The Sections in Block 111., Waimate, are about two miles inland of the town of Manaia, about half being grass lands, the remainder light bush with clearings. The Sections in Block 1., Hawera, adjoin the railway line from New Plymouth to Hawera, and are about two miles from the Normanby Station. Land level and partially cleared. Contested applications for any of the Deferred-payment Sections will be decided on the 22nd December, at Hawera. Full particulars may be obtained and plans inspected at any Land Office in the colony. TENDERS will be received until NOON of TUESDAY, 22nd November, 1881, for the Supply and Delivery of Coal and Coke for the New Zealand Railways. They must be addressed to the General Manager of New Zealand Railways, Wellington, and marked outside " Tender for coal." Specifications can be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the offices of the Railway Managers at Auckland, Whangarei, Napier, Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth, Nelson, Picton, Greymouth, Westport, Christchurch, Inver cargill, and Dunedin. Telegraphic tenders will be received presented at any Telegraph Office NOON of the same date, provided thai written tenders in due form are lodged at a Railway Manager's office by the same hour.
