THE DETACHED SQUADRON.
(Reuter's Telegram.) Sydney, July 28. The medical attendants of Admiral the Earl of Can william have decided that his Lordship is now convalescent. H.M.S. Bacchante arrived to-day from Melbourne. It is believed, however, that the Squadron will be further detained until some repairs, which were only temporarily made in Melbourne, have been thoroughly completed. Some days also will be occupied in provisioning and coaling before the Squadron is ready f or sea.
