July 22. i Mr Hinsey, of Messrs Edwards and Bennett, fell down the hatching of the j Merope to-day, and dislocated his ankle and one shoulder, broke several ribs, and cut his head badly. John Evans Brown, former member for Ashley has, it . is stated, received a request from a number of electors to stand again at the coming elections. The rain has now ceased, and the clouds are broken, but it is still squally and very cold, and threatening a fall of snow. _______ ___ .
