July 19. In the House of Commons last night the Irish Land Bill was further considered in Committee, when the remaining clauses to the last were duly passed. A few clauses which had been postponed during the progress of the Bill in Committee, will now be brought up for final consideration. At the annual meeting of the National Rifle Association at Wimbledon, the Queen's prize (second stage), consisting of the Association's gold medal and £250, has been won by Private Deck, of the 3rd Devon Volunteer Corps, who made a score of 86 marks, the highest on record. Telegrams are to hand from America stating that despite the settlement ot the Fortune Bay Fishery dispute, which was arrived at last month, fresh differences have arisen between American and Canadian fishermen regarding the righ ts of the former in Newfoundland waters. Communications have already passed between the American and English Governments in regard to the points now in dispute.
