Nelson Vines. — It is stated that almost all the vines in Nelson are severely affected by blight. Taranaki Ironsand.— The Taranaki Herald says :— We learn that it is likely that a company will be floated in Auckland for the purpose of purchasing the Ironsand Smelting Works at Henui, and giving the industry another trial. A practical smelter is expected to arrive here shortly from Australia for the purpose of inspecting and reporting upon the Henui works, the exhibits sent from New Plymouth to the Melbourne Exhibition having attracted attention*
