WHEREAS the land described -in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken under " 'I'ho Publio Worki Act, 1876," and "The Public Worki ■> Act, 1870, Amendment Act, 1878," for ■ certain work, to wit, the construction of a road in the Putiki Native 'Reserve, Wangaehu Highway District, County of Wanganui : ■ ( And whereas the Wangaehu High* way Board has laid before the Gover- ~. nor the memorial and map mentioned in and signed and certified as re« - quired by the said Acts : Now, therefore, I, Sir Horoolsi , George Robert Robinson,' Governor of ' the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of tho Executive Council of the said colony, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by sections twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three, ■ twenty-four,' and twenty-five of "The Public Works Act, 1876," and by sec tibn twenty-eight of.
