ROWING.
W.E.C. JDNIOE FOr/BS. I hear the orews have been picked to row as follows : — Ist heat, Pearon against Black ; 2nd heat, Marshall against Jones ; 3rd heat, "Woon against the winner of the Ist heat; 4th heat, the winner of the 2nd heat against the winner of the 3rd heat. The Ist heat will be a hot one, but I spot Fearon's crew as first by more than j a length. For the 2nd heat I incline slightly towards Marshall. For the 3rd heat, if Pearon has to row, I again pin my faith on him. Tha 4th heat, if the above tips are straight, is an open one, but I can t help favouring the bone and muscle, and so onue more I expect Fearon's crew to shoot the post first. J Sthoke Oar.
