Manawatu left Wellington at 8.30 p.m. on Thursday. Had light southerly wind during tho passage. Arrived off tho "bar at 12 p.m., and made faßt alongside the Corporation Wharf at 1.30 p.m. Tho «.s. Stormbird, Captain Doile, loft Wellington nt 7 o'clock p.m. on the 29th. Owing to heavy westerly giles had to put into Kapiti. Left them at 8 a.m. on Thursday. From Kapiti till arrival experienced light southerly winds, and arrived off tho bar at 12 o'clock p.m. on tho 30th ; made fast to the wharf at 3.30 p.m. on the :ilst. She leaves again to-day at 4 o'clock for Wellington. ,
