Carrageen is a dark grey, four years old, stands 15 bands 3in high, with immense bone and muscle, and is the [ first of the blood imported into this district. His pedigree is indisputable, and proves that he comes of' racing stock, possessing the same qualities of speed and stamina. Snowdon, his father, is noted as the best steeplechase aud hurdle sire in Australia. Carrageen is better known in Australia as the Snowdon Colt. For . proof of pedigree see Victorian Stud Book.
