WELLINGTON.
Sept. 17. Sailed— Stormbird for Wanganui. Passengers — Messrs Barlow, Cook, Armstrong, Powell, Wallace and James. Also Manawatu for Wanganui. Passengers—Mrs Coleridge, Mrs Travers, Mrs Monkelly, Messrs Pike and Smith. A proclamation in the Government Gazette notifies that all the copper coin of the United Kindom in circulation within the colony shall be decried and called in on the 31st of January, 1876. A piece of lancl at Puysegur Point, Preservation Inlet, has been reserved for a lighthouse.
