From and after the passing of this Act, no sheep in course of transmission without 1,1)8 Province of Auckland, shall be landed in any place within the Province without the written permission of the Inspector of tihtiep for the District wherein such last-mentioned place shall be situate, or t of some person duly appointed in writing in that: behalf by the Superintendent;. 5. Every person who shall, without the permission hereiuaiter required, land, or aid, or assist in any way in landing any such sheep in tlis. said Province, shall for every such offence be liable to a penalty not exceeding One Hundred Pounds. 6. Every owner of any such sheep who shall land, or permit, or suffer the same to be lauded, before the same shall have been submitted to such examination, or before the charges payable under this Act shall have been paid, shall in either of such cases be deemed to have committed an offence against this Act, and shall on conviction be liable to a penalty not exceeding One Hundred Pounds.
