MAILS FOR ENGLAND.

VIA PANAMA. Mails for America and Europe, via Panama, are despatched from Wellington on the Bth ot every month: and from Wangamu on the Wednesday or Sunday not later than two days preceding ; Mails chising in Wanganui at 5 p.m. On Wednesday, 4th November, to arrive at Panama on the sth of next month, and mails to be delivered in London on the 30th of the following month. —Time, 52 days. VIA SUEZ. Mails for Australia and Europe, via Suez, by way of Marseilles or Southampton, are despatched from Wellington once every 4 weeks Time : via Marseilles, about 55 days ; via Southampton, about 60 days. MAILS FROM ENGLAND. VIA PANAMA. Mail 3 close in London for New Zealand and the Australian colonies, via Panama, on the 2nd of every month ; being despatched by West India Mail Packet, to arrive at the Isthmus of Panama on the 24th; hence by P.N.Z. & A.R.M. Co’s steamers, due in Weiington on the 21st. VIA SUEZ. Mails close in London for the Australian colonies and New Zealand about the 20th of every month, via Southampton ; and on the 26th via Marseilles, to arrive in Wellington on the 23rd of the following month. A notification has been issued by the General Post-office in London, to the effect that all letters posted in England for New Zealand will be forwardedvia Panama, unless specially directed via Suez.
