RANGITIKEI VOLUNTEER NOTICE. IN pursuance of the power vested in Hie, in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 17, dated 24th March, 1866, I hereby call upon those members who did not. tender their services again in the Volunteer Corps at present existing in the Raugitikei district, and those who formerly belonged to the Union Cavalry Volunteers, and Rifle Rangers, to give up all Government property in their possession, on the undermentioned dates and places, where a duly authorized person will be ready to receive them : » At Beavan’s, on June 18th and 19th 1866. At Bull’s, on June 20th and 21st, 1866. At Franklyn & Hurst’s, Turakina, on June 23rd, 1866. Those who fail to comply with Order will be dealt with in accords with Clause 7, Volunteer Act, 1865-6. TO BE RAFFLED on Thursday, the 21st June, at 12 o’clock, at the Rutland Hotel, the two well known entire horses, “ England’s Hope ” and “ Sampson.” One hundred members at Two Pounds each. The highest thrower to have the choice of horses, the lowest taking the other. All the names of subscribers will be placed in a bag, and their throws will take place as their names are drawn.
