Wanganui Chronicle Office, Wanganui, June 16, 1866. This has been a very dull week for all kinds of business. Mr Finnimore’s sale of sundries on Thursday, was rather poorly attended m consequence. The following are a few of the prices realised *: —Mauritius sugar (duty paid), brown crvstals, 4£d ; brandy, in bond, 2s 6d per gallon ; perry, 5s per doz ; bottled beer, 83 per doz ; onions, 3£d per lb ; Champion s vinegar, 2s 6d per gal. ; congou tea, chests, ±6 los; half ditto, £3 17s 6d ; patna rice, £lB per ton. Prices of cattle are falling; at a sale of stock of Messrs Gudgeon and Co., held at Campbclltown Yards, on same day, cows averaged little over £5 ahead ; young beasts, from L. 6 M L 4 each.
