DAMAGING BLOW
STRUCK AT BANGKOK BY AIRCRAFT OF EASTERN COMMAND (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) CALCUTTA, June 6. Strong forces of heavy bombers from the strategic air force of the Eastern Command dealt Bangkok its heaviest blow of the war on Monday. The bombers in a widespread attack hit railway yards and workshops. Bangkok is one of the most important railway centres in southern Thailand.
