S.M. COURT SMALL NUMBER OF CASES. (“Tirries-Age” Special.) Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M., presided over the monthly sitting of the Carterton S.M. Court yesterday. The Carterton Borough Council obtained judgment by default against W. B. Watkins on a claim for £22 10s 7d, costs amounting- to £4 15s 6d. Judgment was given for plaintiff, Watson & Co., against J. McMahon, being a claim for the balance of a debt, £7 2s, with costs £2 3s 6d. Personal Items. Mr. and Mrs. W. Abbott, of Feilding, are'visiting Carterton, and are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. P. REGENT THEATRE DOUBLE PROGRAMME. An exceptionally good double feature programme will be shown tonight. “After Midnight with Boston Blackie” is a picture full of thrills, with Chester Morris and Ann Savage in the principal roles. “Little Tokyo. U.5.A.,” is a sensational drama, the chief characters in which are portrayed by Preston Foster and Brenda Joyce.
