WEDDING

PERROTT-WILLIAMS. The wedding was celebrated recently at St. Matthew’s Church, Masterton, of May, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Williams, Masterton, and Flying Officer George Perrott, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Perrott, St. Albans, Christchurch. The bride’s gown was of ivory silk velvet and lace. Her tulle veil was mounted on a halo of stiffened lace and her bridal flowers were white. The bride was attended by her two sisters, Misses Maude and Frances Williams, who wore ■ picture frocks of violet georgette, and two small nieces, Susan Anne and Beverly Bayliss, who were attired in replicas of the older maids’ frocks, with linings of pink. The sisters carried sheaf bouquets in tonings of pink and violet, and the small girls Victorian posies. The bridegroom was attended, by fellow Air Force officers, SquadronLeader Stan Quill (best man) and Fly-ing-Officer Jack Baragwanath (groomsman). The bride’s mother wore a gown of black georgette and lace with a pink shoulder spray. The bridegroom s mother was dressed in a gown of black silk velvet with a shoulder spray to tone. Assisting Mrs. Williams and Mrs Perrott at the reception were the bride’s two elder sisters, Mrs. R. L. Bayliss and Mrs. S. J. Falloon.
