REGENT THEATRE

“COASTAL COMMAND.” “Coastal Command” and “From the Four Corners” will be finally shown tonight. “MRS MINIVER.” Once again the Regent Theatre brings to patrons one of the greatest films of all time in “Mrs Miniver,” which will be shown tomorrow night. The tremendous impact of the war on the common people of England, with all its resultant drama, fortitude and heroism, is vividly portrayed. The leading roles are taken by Greer Garson and Walter Pidgeon. In support are Teresa Wright, Dame May Whitty, Reginald Owen, Henry Travers, Richard Ney and Henry Wilcoxon. “Mrs Miniver” is British, the universal, heart warming symbol of the endurable and pleasant sides of this existence. Against the shadow of the present she holds up for view everything that is brightest for the future. The picture is based on Jan Struthers’ book, and is proluced by William Wyler. Patrons should not miss this brilliant drama.
