REGENT THEATRE

“HIGH SIERRA” “High Sierra” will be finally shown tonight. “CAPTIVE WILD WOMAN” Hollywood’s most gripping drama, “Captive Wild Woman,” brings to patrons another great story presented by Universal Studios, makers of the famous Wolf Man, Dracula and Frankenstein films. A spectacular battle between a lion and a tiger established the lion’s right to the title “King of Beasts.” The chief roles are taken by Evelyn Ankers and John Carradine. The play was directed by Edward Donytryk. The associate feature, “Yokel Boy,” takes the audience behind the scenes of a movie studio. It’s a merry mix up when a tough gangster tries to assume control of the studio. It is a novel and side-splitting story, the leading parts being taken by the “ace funsters,” Joan Davis, Eddie Foy and many others. “Yokel Boy” has everything that constitutes perfect light entertainment.
