RIVERSIDE CLUB PATRIOTIC TOURNAMENT. THIS MORNING’S PLAY. The Riverside Golf Club's Easter tournament in aid of Patriotic Funds was commenced today. The fairways and greens were in perfect order and visitors from Hastings, Westport, Wellington and New Plymouth were enthusiastic about the splendid condition of the links.
The following qualified for the Easter championship: R. Bell, F. Hallam, J. Wakelin, J. Lulham, R. Callendar, F. Rolph, R. Simpson, R. Lulham.
The first medal round resulted: D. Parsons and F. Hallam 65. On a count back, D. Parsons was declared the winner.
