ENEMY CONVOY
ATTACKED BY COASTAL COMMAND OFF COAST OF NORWAY LARGE MERCHANT SHIP TORPEDOED LONDON, April 7. R.A.F. Coastal Command Beaufighters attacked an enemy convoy old: the Norwegian coast today. A large enemy merchant ship was hit by a torpedo. At least two of the five escort vessels were left on fire. In spite of heavy anti-aircraft fire both from shore batteries and the ships, all the Beaufighters returned.
