STATE THEATRE
“TIME TO KILL.” There will be an excellent double feature programme at the State Theatre tonight, “Time to Kill” is loaded with thrills and shows Mike Shayne is one of the most baffling mystery pictures ever brought to the screen. It is a fast-moving film, full of wise-cracks and crack shots. The chief roles are taken by Lloyd Nolan, Heather Angel and Ralph Byrd. The associate picture is “The Common Touch,” a comedy sparkling with music and scintillating with stars. The principal roles are taken by Greta Gynt, Geoffrey Hibbert (the star of “Love on the Dole”) and Joyce Howard.
