TO BE IMPROVED
STOCKYARD CONDITIONS. AT CARTERTON RAILWAY STATION. As a result of representations made to the Railways Department by the Health Department regarding the necessity for improving the conditions at the stockyards at the Carterton iailway station, it being contended that, the existing condtiions were not sanitary, the Hon. B. Roberts advises that expenditure has been authorised for the paving of these yards. The work will be put in hand as soon as it is practicable to do so.
