The Joker is an acceptor for the Jockey Club Handicap at Dunedin on Saturday, but he may be prevented from starting because of the Stud Book certificate covering his transfer from New Zealand to Australia was not returned when the horse was shipped back to New Zealand. The Rules of Racing prevent the horse from running in the Dominion till this certificate is in the hands of the New Zealand Racing Conference or till the keeper of the Stud Book in Sydney satisfies the conference that it has been dispatched. The Joker has an engagement in the Wellington Cup and the race at Dunedin on Saturday was to be the deciding factor ■ whether the Trentham trip would be undertaken or not.
