Anyone wishing to remit money to members of the forces overseas may do so either by post or cablegram through the Base Pay Office, Wellington, and remittances to soldiers must not be forwarded by any other means! For further particulars, apply Post Office. ~ CABLEGRAMS TO MEMBERS OF THE ARMY, AIR FORCE * AND NAVAL PERSONNEL ABROAD. A flat rate of 2/6 is made for each telegram, irrespective of the number of texts (limited to three) which require to be forwarded. The addresses are to be the same as for letters. Cablegrams containing a text other than one of those indicated may still be forwarded by any person who so desires, but the special concession-rate of 2/6 a message will not apply to such telegrams, which must be paid for at one of the ordinary commercial rates and the address charged for.
