MONETARY STABILISATION.
HOPES OF ALLIED CONFERENCE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, January 6. 'The Secretary to the Treasury (Mr H. Morgenthau) announced that he hoped a United Nations post-war monetary stabilisation conference would be held early in 1944. He added that the United States and Britain were closer on this subject than ever before, while Russians were en route for preconference talks, similar ot those in Which the United States had engaged with 43 other nations.
