GIRL DECAPITATED
PETONE RAILWAY TRAGEDY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The decapitated body of Noeline Margaret Phillips, aged 16, who resided with her parents in Cuba Street., Petone, was found by the engine driver of a train at 3.5 a.m. today, on the railway line between the Petone railway station and the P.etone railway crossing. It is believed that she was run over by a previous train, which passed through Petone about 12.20 a.m.
