HOLIDAY RACES
MANAWATU MEETING. GILLIES HANDICAP TO BE RUN AS TWO RACES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, This Day. The Gillies Handicap at the Manawatu meeting will be run as two races. The Gillies Handicap No. 1 is:—Skyhawk, Spirit, Wee Bun, Vera Lynn, Star Peer, The Grand, Kahuranaki. Ca. pine, Financial, Lord Reay, Jolly Ruler, Dies Fautus, Good Fun, Vernon, Crackerjack, Hoea Mai. All the others are in the Gillies Handicap No. 2. (The list of acceptances for the meeting will be found on page 5.)
