SIAMESE AROUSED
AND READY TO HELP ALLIES ACCORDING TO REPORTS FROM BANGKOK FREQUENT ANTI-JAPANESE INCIDENTS (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day. 10.40 a.m.) CHUNGKING, November 15. The Siamese, aroused by Japanese mistreatment, are now ready to help the Allies to expel the Japanese from Thailand, says the United Press, quoting Chinese reports from Bangkok. Since March, when serious disturbances broke out, many minor pitched battles have been fought between peasants and Japanese soldiers. Anti- Japanese incidents are occurring daily. Even the Premier, Songram, now doubts a Japanese victory and discounts Japanese promises. Consequently the Japanese recently admonished Songgram for his defeatist attitude.
