“MIMES & MELODIES” AN ENJOYABLE CONCERT. . (“Times-Age” Special.) The Greytown Town Hall was packed for the concert, “Mimes and Melodies,” organised by Mrs J. F. Thompson. The singing and costumes of the Papawai Maoris brought rounds of applause. The final part of the programme was a one-act comedy produced by Mrs C. Brooking. At the interval the Mayor, Mr A. W. Horton, thanked all those who had taken part in and assisted at the concert. The takings amounted to approximately £5O, which will go to the Soldiers’ Parcel Fund.
