ORDERED BY THE GERMANS IN BELGIUM UNDER THREAT OF SEVERE PENALTIES. NEW BASES FOR NIGHT FIGHTERS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.55 a.m.) RUGBY. December 28. The Germans have established a number of new airbases in the Belgian province of Limbourg for the use .of German night fighters detailed to intercept R.A.F. bombers en route for the Ruhr. According to Belgian sources in London, security measures, 'and in' particular blackout regulations, have been tightened throughout occupied Belgium and the population has been warned by posters that severe penalties will be imposed unless a total blackout is observed.
